Cyprus Residency

Non-European Union nationals can secure permanent residency in Cyprus by investing a minimum of €300,000 in either real estate or securities.

Permanent residents are exempt from taxes on worldwide income, encompassing dividends and capital gains. Additionally, Cyprus does not impose inheritance taxes and maintains low rates for income and property taxes.

Cyprus stands out as an optimal jurisdiction for establishing tax residency for international businesses or incorporating a new company, boasting a corporate tax rate of merely 12.5%.

Following five years of residency in Cyprus, a permanent resident becomes eligible for Cypriot citizenship. Cypriot citizens enjoy visa-free travel to over 170 countries, including those within the European Union and the United Kingdom.
